About "2 Dumb Kids":
"2 Dumb Kids Productions" was founded by Brian and Brandon to help people better understand economics / politics through the use of Web Videos. We have since become a part of the Laid Off Podcast team. Check out the new "Econ-O-Bonita" segments! We discuss the study of economics and how it effects your everyday life.
By the time most of us graduate high school, we have taken 12 years of Science, History, Math, English, Foreign Language, and P.E. but only 1 semester of Economics and/or Political science. Therefore, we believe that the average United States citizen does not have the necessary tools needed from to sift through the B.S. in the mainstream media outlets in order to make good political decisions from public education alone.
Hopefully, we will help fill the void on Economics / Politics that you were never taught by your High School Gym Coach because he was too busy playing solitaire while you were fingerboarding in the back of the room.
The "2 Dumb Kids" project is still new... so it is still evolving. Feel free to give us your thoughts / criticisms by e-mailing us.
Who Are These "2 Dumb Kids" Anyways?
Brandon has a BBA in Economics from UTA and is currently working on his Masters (MA in Economics). He plans on graduating in the Fall of 2011. He owns a Recording Studio / Video Production company and a screen printing shop in Texas.
Brian has a Bachelor of Science in Art from CSU and specializes in Graphic Design / Animation. After serving for the Counter Terrorist Response Unit in the US Air Force, he was an Area Representative of U.S. Senator Wayne Allard (R).

Universal Beer Care: This cartoon explores the possibility that serious negative externalities exist in a government subsidized health care program and is intended to help the YouTube generation better understand the consequences of irresponsible voting for those political parties / politicians who support such social welfare programs in a non-threatening, humorous way.

SPEND MONEY!: Nancy Pelosi has the solution to all of the worlds problems... spend money! Apparently all of us economists (or newspaper editors, anchormen, and politicians... same difference right?) agree that spending tax payer money on social welfare programs is more likely to get the economy going than giving tax cuts to the working class with jobs. Makes sense right?
